| 'Holy tightwads, Batman! A better PC than what you're running costs less than a pair of designer jeans? What's happened to the computer industry?
When we pressed the power button, our cynical sides expected sparks and smoke. Instead, we were welcomed by Linspire. Linspire runs and operates, for the most part, a lot like Microsoft Windows. In fact, Linspire's relative familiarity and ease of use are two of its biggest selling points.' – Loyd Case, PC Magazine

| 'You really owe it to yourself and your computer to give Linspire 5.0 a try... you just might be amazed at the difference one little CD-ROM can make in your entire computer using experience. My only remaining question is, isn't this how using a computer *should* be?' – Mike G., Dallas/Forth Worth, TX

| 'I was satisfied with Linspire 4.5. I am THRILLED with Linspire 5.0. It is easier to use. Everything just feels right. It is beautiful to look at. My kids are perfectly happy with Linspire and I never had to teach them a thing about it. They caught on right away.' – John W., Chaffee, MO

| '"Linspire 5 is fast to install and use, beautiful to look at, virus free, and well supported. I know many non-profit clients I have worked for who would have liked this OS to have been around long ago. It is affordable in many ways. Look at all the software that comes with it using CNR. To me it is the most Bang-for-the-Bucks! And - it's going to get better."' – Rob M., Gainesville, FL

| 'I no longer feel that I am learning how to use my OS, Linspire 5.0 gave me a true sense of ownership over my computer. That ownership gives me a freedom I didn't know I was missing. I shocked many of my friends when I sold my Mac this afternoon and stopped saving for a G5.' – Patrick G., Bolingbrook, IL

| 'Linspire 5.0 comes with all the applications I need already installed: word processing, spreadsheet, (all Office compatible), browser, email, and a snappy desktop that's a snap to use and customize. Linspire 5.0 doesn't deliver a few things that I grew to expect from my last operating system: a hefty price tag, virus of the week, pop-up spam, spyware, and random crashes.' – Peter van der Linden, Los Altos, CA

| 'I am fairly new to Linspire and I must say this has been the best investment in computing I have ever made and it just keeps getting better! Keep up the good work - I love sharing all these exciting developments with my family and friends. I have one convert so far in my family and looking to bring more over to the saner side of computing.
With gratitude from a very happy customer!' – Laurie I., Mashpee, Massachusetts

| 'Well, here I am again. New install of Linspire 5.0 and all I can say is I am blown away!
Anyone who says this is a Windows wannabee or otherwise is out of their mind on this one. I installed this on a Dell laptop with not a single driver or device issue.
I was able to bring my software back from the Linspire library having been without my original computer for almost a year, and have been able to rebuild my machine with money I spent a long time ago without spending any more money.
All my programs, right back in and off I go.
This is the way things are going. No receipts, no disks, no proof of purchase. I have to hand it to you guys down their in San Diego...
This is over the top.
Did you see the review on MSNBC? Thats right. MSNBC.
Glowing.
Thanks for a job well done. Confirmed Linspire Convert.
Peace.' – Mel M., Tacoma, Washington

Thank you for your efforts,' – Dave H., Ohio

| 'After testing out a few other Linux distros (and a few other things not worth taking up the bandwith to list here), I have to say how pleased I am with Linspire . I have to work in a Win98 environment during the day, so it's nice to come home to a penguin box that I feel good about using (I also have a Mac Mini, albiet for different reasons). Not only are most of my devices recognized (yes! even my FireWire DVD-R/W unit!), but I can also use some of the same apps that drew me to Linux in the first place (the GIMP and XMMS immediately come to mind, now joined by Firefox & Thunderbird, Inkscape, and Mplayer). If I have to pay to work the penguin, then all I ask is that it work well. (The fact that your company also makes supports the people who make up the backbone of the open-source community helps.)
