If you encounter a problem while running Linspire, you can easily
report the problem
directly to our engineers, all with just a few
clicks right from your Linspire desktop!
By using the Diagnostic Report, your hardware configuration is also
automatically sent
to our engineers, along with your
reported issue, to better help them
in diagnosing the problem.
Linspire encourages you
to use the Diagnostic Report anytime you encounter a problem.
The more reports we receive, the better we can make the Linspire
operating system!

To
report hardware or software problems with
your Linspire system, simply....
1. Run the Linspire Diagnostic Report
from the support menu...

2. Click Next from the first Welcome
screen...

3. Enter in your problem. Please
include an email address where we can
contact you, should our engineers
need to ask you any additional questions.
Check the reply box if
you'd like our engineers to respond back to you on this problem.
And finally, if you have been given a reference number from Linspire
about this
issue before, please list it in the "Related incidents" field.

4. It could take a minute or two to
fully diagnose your system and send the report,
after which time you'll
receive the below success page...

Advanced Users:
You can also submit Diagnostic Reports manually by following these steps:
1. Go to console (L > Run Programs > Utilities > Terminal Program)
2. Type: wget -nv http://info.linspire.com/sysreport/sysreport -O /tmp/sysreport
3. Type: cd /tmp
4. Type: chmod +x sysreport
5. Type: ./sysreport
